Overview
North Ridge was developed to strengthen regional grid reliability and meet increasing clean energy targets set by state regulators. The site was selected for its strong and consistent wind corridor, favorable terrain, and proximity to existing transmission infrastructure.
Structure Plans
Prior to development, the area relied heavily on fossil-based generation during peak demand periods. The objective was to introduce a high-yield renewable asset capable of stabilizing supply while lowering long-term carbon intensity.

Challenges & Innovations
Grid interconnection required synchronization with an aging transmission line. We upgraded substation infrastructure and integrated real-time load balancing systems to ensure seamless energy dispatch.
Seasonal wind variability and winter icing posed operational challenges. To maintain consistent output, we implemented advanced turbine control algorithms and cold-climate blade protection systems to reduce downtime during extreme weather.
